AN INTRODUCTION

Roshan Chandy is a freelance film critic, journalist and writer based in Nottingham, UK. While a self-described "genre specialist" in Science Fiction cinema, Roshan posseses a passion for a multitude of film genres from every corner of the world. He attends the cinema 4-5 days a week; living, breathing and consuming all the latest movie releases both on the big screen and on streaming services. Whether a crashy smashy blockbuster from Michael Bay or low-budget foreign-language film, Roshan approaches every release with the genuine belief that they could be "the next 'Citizen Kane'" (really!). He has the fundemental mindset that Film Criticism is about championing movies as much as it is about criticizing them.

As well as reviewing films on his personal website Roshan's Reviews, Roshan is a contributing film reviewer for an ever-expanding list of websites and publications. These include LeftLion Magazine, Movie Quotes and More and Cheer Full.
