Boris Johnson’s career has survived controversy after controversy, it’s not going to die out over the words of Lord Voldemort.
He came, he spoke, he let out a cascade of ‘Jaws’ (1975) references and slammed the Prime Minister (his closest aide) and said Matt Hancock should resign. That’s Dominic Cummings’ bitchathon of a testimony in a nutshell. Pundits are predicting this testimony and the upcoming inquiry into the government’s handling of the pandemic will be the downfall of Britain’s competent buffoon Prime Minister. I beg to differ and here’s why:
Boris has proved himself to be an incredibly successful Prime Minister these past 2 months. He achieved the Brexit deal the Eurosceptics wanted and, come June 21st, looks set to bring an end to the pandemic. That’s the mark of a successful politician - achieving all your goals.
