How hay fever is winning the battle of Rushcliffe Country Park.
I had to tell my job coach that this wasn’t gonna work. After all, being in a country park is the worst place you wanna be when you have frickin’ hay fever. I pulled out and we drove home where I briskly showered to wash off all the wretched pollen. I had to wet my mask too as that had pollen contamination on it. A hell when you’re an OCD sufferer!
I do hope I can go back to the lovely country park next week. It’s so spacious and full of green, eco-energy. The way my hay fever is going, though, I’d be lucky to see the inside of a playground. The lockdown may be lifting, but it isn’t for me - I’m going to be spending this summer in a self-imposed one; tucked away in my room with a flat screen TV. Unless my hay fever meds work…
