My life-long obsession with casual shirts.
There’s only two things I love in life - a good film and a good shirt. No, I’m joking, but I do love a shirt to wear each morning when the sun comes out. It’s very manly and very cool and gives me a big ego boost when people can see my massive muscles popping out of denim, plaid or whatever.
A few years ago, I went through a phase of only wearing shirts with the button undone halfway down my chest. I was narcissistic and body-obsessed and wanted people to get a taste of my V-shaped torso. Since then, I have to say I’ve fallen out of love with shirts. Partly because it’s been too cold and I’ve been too fat - most of my shirts’ buttons would pop open because my belly was so huge. I needed Xtra Large - not medium like I was wearing when I was actually ripped from going to the gym and working out at home.
But, as I’ve said on this blog, I’ve lost weight recently - 2 stone and gone from 213 lbs to 187 lbs. Now, my medium-sized shirts fit again and don’t feel like they’re going to explode at any second. It feels good and I’m ready to wear shirts again.
With the sun out, I thought what better time to give you my top shirt recommendations…
